Role Overview
As Head of Wellness, you will architect, lead, and evolve Cura’s global wellness programme—from massage therapy and movement, to somatic healing, diagnostics, and mental resilience programming. You will oversee onsite teams (yoga, breathwork, physio, bodywork, etc.), lead recruitment and development, and collaborate across departments to embed wellness throughout the resident journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy & Programme Design
- Lead the design and implementation of Cura’s holistic wellness architecture (Restore, Release, Renew)
- Ensure seamless integration across physical, mental, emotional, and social wellness tracks
- Develop 1–4 week progressive wellness journeys tied to our residency durations
- Team Leadership & Delivery
- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing team of facilitators (massage, yoga, breathwork, bodywork, etc.)
- Maintain quality control and guest experience standards across all locations
- Develop scalable SOPs and guest pathways to ensure consistency across multiple sites
- Operations & Infrastructure
- Collaborate with architects and spa designers to define functional zoning (treatment rooms, plunge pools, saunas, etc.)
- Manage procurement of equipment, consumables, diagnostics, and digital wellness integrations
- Develop treatment and pricing menus with tiered options (core + add-ons + memberships)
- Guest Experience & Community
- Curate daily and weekly programming aligned to resident rhythms (1:1 sessions, group classes, rituals)
- Host wellness welcome briefings, open circles, and fire-side integrations
- Work closely with the Food, Medical, and Fitness leads to deliver a unified performance medicine offer
- Digital & Measurement
- Oversee use of digital wellness platforms (wearables, dashboards, apps)
- Integrate feedback loops, well-being metrics, and pre/post diagnostics into guest journeys
- Co-create a content & storytelling calendar with Marketing to spotlight wellness stories
Ideal Profile:
- You Bring:
- 8+ years experience designing and delivering integrative wellness programmes
- Deep knowledge of movement, mindfulness, diagnostics, and evidence-based practices
- Experience in luxury hospitality, high-performance clinics, or leading wellness retreats
- Strong team leadership with a human-first, emotionally intelligent approach
- Operational acumen and comfort working with tech, data, and guest feedback
- Public speaking & facilitation skills; able to lead sessions and briefings
- A global mindset, cultural fluency, and passion for regenerative living
